Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Audricia Brooks has deep roots in her community. Her family's North Avondale residency spans over half a century, a testament to her strong connection to the city she calls home.

Audricia's educational journey led her to the University of Cincinnati, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and the University of Kentucky, where she proudly achieved a Master of Science in Nursing. As a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, she brings a wealth of medical expertise to her community.

A devoted family woman, Audricia is married to her childhood sweetheart. Together, they are parents to eight children who have all been educated within the Cincinnati Public Schools system.

Audricia's commitment to Cincinnati extends beyond her family. With a heart for public service, she is running for Cincinnati City Council in the upcoming November 2025 election. As an active member of the League of Women Voters, she dedicates herself to advocating for voter registration, ensuring every voice is heard.

Audricia champions proportional representation and choice ranked voting, emphasizing the importance of fair and inclusive democratic practices in Cincinnati.

Serving America's veterans for over 29 years, Audricia was a dedicated Primary Care Provider (PCP) at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Specializing in Women's Health, her devotion to care for the community was unparalleled. Her impact extended beyond direct care as she served as faculty and mentor for the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program.

Her leadership extended to the role of Director of National Nurses United, the collective bargaining unit for Registered Nurses at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Under her guidance, the organization supported nurses in advocating for their rights and fair compensation.

Audricia's passion is evident in her involvement in negotiations leading to the largest federal government payout for unpaid overtime wages to nurse practitioners and physicians' assistants. Her dedication to justice has a lasting impact.

With her background in healthcare, Audricia is most concerned about the welfare of the most vulnerable members of our community: the elderly, the young, and the disabled. Her advocacy for community health and safety drives her mission to create a better Cincinnati for all.
